    The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted the lives of individuals with disabilities, deepening, and widening existing inequalities. The purpose of the presentation is to discuss briefly discuss the COVID-19 pandemic response for individuals with disabilities and highlight lessons learned focusing on new disability-inclusive initiatives, guidance, and policies.

    Nurses on the front line share their insights on addressing vaccine hesitancy and lessons learned through COVID-19 while working with tribal communities. We hear on-the-ground strategies from Janet Reich, RN, MSHSA and Sausha Nells, RN, BSN, nurses on the Navajo reservation and Erin McCanlies, PhD, an epidemiologist who works on the Tribal Support Section in CDC.

In this session, nurses on the front line shared their insights on addressing vaccine hesitancy and lessons learned through COVID-19 while working with tribal communities. We heard on-the-ground strategies from nurses on the Navajo reservation and an epidemiologist who works on the Tribal Support Section in CDC. Our expert panel also advised on available COVID resources and supports for partnering with tribal communities.
