Philly SPROUT's Trauma and Parenting

On February 18, NNCC and Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) held an interactive training hosted by Philadelphia Supporting Parenting Relationships through Outreach, Understanding & Training (Philly SPROUT) Project.  This training featured Sarah Yanosy, LCSW-R, Director of Consulting and co-founder of Creating PRESENCE, Adjunct Professor at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services, consultant, and therapist, and discussed trauma and internal working models for relationships, examples of relational impact, and emotional volume plans for parents and children. Attendees also collaborated on developing emotional volume plans for the families they serve.
