This session covers how to appropriately grant access to protected health information (PHI) based on the role of staff or services provided for vendors. How to efficiently and effectively terminate staff access when individuals leave the organization will also be covered, as well as developing physical access controls. Examples of access stratified by typical health center users will be included. The intended audience for this session is security officers, privacy officers, and clinic administrators.
