About the Training

The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium invites you to a 60-minute webinar exploring the unique and essential role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in advancing equity in breast cancer screening and treatment linkage. This session will equip health center staff and healthcare professionals with the knowledge and strategies to leverage CHWs’ expertise in promoting equitable breast cancer care.

Participants will learn how CHWs reduce health disparities by guiding individuals through screening, providing community outreach, and facilitating timely treatment connections. The webinar will also address how CHWs use their cultural competence to meet underserved populations' specific needs, helping improve access to care and achieve health equity goals.
