About the Training
Join National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) and the Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) as we have our third webinar for the Philadelphia Supporting Parenting Relationships through Outreach, Understanding & Training (Philadelphia SPROUT) Project with speaker, Odilakachi Hezekiah-Onwukwe, LPC, from Full Being Services. The overarching goal of this activity is to equip professionals working with families impacted by intergenerational trauma, to provide psychoeducation and support to parents/caregivers who have been impacted by their own trauma histories, and to normalize and validate the common experiences of adults with trauma histories who are moving into a parenting stage of life.
What You'll Learn:
Throughout the training, attendees will learn how to identify strategies to enhance the caregiver-child connection; identify parenting challenges for caregivers with past complex trauma; and be able to reflect critically on the role of self-regulation, co-regulation, and de-escalation for caregivers.
Nursing Continuing Professional Development
National Nurse-Led Care Consortium is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This webinar is pending accreditation for 1.0 contact hour of continuing nursing professional development per session. To obtain nursing continuing professional development contact hours, you must participate in the entire activity, participate in audience polling and/or Q&A sessions, and complete the evaluation.

Pennsylvania social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychologists may be awarded 1.0 CEU for the webinar.
