About the Training
Join National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) and the Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) as we have our first webinar of the grant year for the Philadelphia Supporting Parenting Relationships through Outreach, Understanding & Training (Philadelphia SPROUT) Project with speaker, Christopher Brown, MS, LPC, DAAETS, CSTIP, from Full Being Services, where he will discuss how early childhood intervention is an opportunity for prevention of subsequent trauma exposures, bolstering opportunities for resiliency and mitigation of developmental deficits. With the focus on Early Intervention of young children dealing with Complex Trauma, this includes treatment targets and strategies for young children and caregivers, intervention strategies for young children and their caregivers, and areas to strengthen and repair for young children and caregivers.
What You'll Learn:
Throughout the training, attendees will be able to identify symptoms of complex trauma across ages/developmental stages; identify interventions to mitigate the impact of complex trauma across developmental stages; and identify evidence-based treatments for young children and families that address complex trauma.
Nursing Continuing Professional Development
National Nurse-Led Care Consortium is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This webinar is pending accreditation for 1.0 contact hour of continuing nursing professional development per session. To obtain nursing continuing professional development contact hours, you must participate in the entire activity, participate in audience polling and/or Q&A sessions, and complete the evaluation.

Pennsylvania social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychologists may be awarded 1.0 CEU for the webinar.
