The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium signed letters endorsing four pieces of federal legislation this month, including:
- Telehealth Expansion Act of 2023 (H.R. 1843/S.1001): This bill would ensure that telehealth flexibility enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic would remain in place permanently beyond its current 2024 extension, giving employees access to pre-deductible telehealth services. - National Nursing Workforce Center Act of 2023 (H.R.2411/S.1150): This bill would support state nursing workforce centers, helping states to gather additional data on the needs of the nursing workforce throughout the country.
