NNCC joins nursing orgs in lobbying Congress for COVID relief priorities

Mar 01, 2021 | Public Health Nursing |

On February 25, the National Nurse-Led Care Consortiuam joined 58 other nursing organizations as part of the Nursing Community Coalition in a letter to Congress outlining our nursing workforce priorities for the next COVID-19 relief package. These priorities include increasing support for our public health nursing workforce, allocating resources for front line workers, including mental health care and childcare support, expanding Title VIII nursing workforce funding, and promoting access to telehealth care.

"Supporting nursing education, research, and the workforce is imperative to the health of our nation now and into the future."

We will continue to push for increased support for nurses throughout the pandemic and beyond. You can read our full ask to Congressional leadership below.
