Following months of uncertainty and funding cliffs, Congress fully-funded several vital healthcare programs, including:
- $7.8 billion over two years in federal funding for the Community Health Center (CHC) program
- $2 billion over five years in federal funding for the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program
- 10 years of federal funding for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
This fiscal plan provides much-needed long-term stability for millions of vulnerable Americans, and supports programs like the Philadelphia Nurse-Family Partnership.
