Join us for this three-part webinar on maternal mental wellness, focusing on mothers' needs across different life stages. The series is designed to provide health center staff with practical tools to enhance care delivery for mothers utilizing health centers. Maternal mental wellness is a key factor influencing the health of mothers, infants, and families. Improving these outcomes is essential for promoting overall well-being.

Throughout the series, expert speakers specializing in maternal health will highlight community initiatives that enhance maternal wellness. Saleemah McNeil, Executive Director of OSHUN, will share insights on social factors influencing maternal mental wellness and explore how experienced whole-person care and community support can contribute to positive outcomes.

Patrisha Cherry, Senior Program Manager at the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC), will present strategies for strengthening maternal care by integrating support systems that enhance patient engagement and community-responsive care. Both speakers will provide promising practices for improving maternal health outcomes.

This series will assist health centers in creating a welcoming healthcare environment focused on addressing and expanding mental health care, enhancing patient engagement, and improving the overall quality of care.

To obtain 1.0 contact hours of continuing professional development in nursing, you must participate in the entire activity, complete the evaluation, and achieve an 80% pass rate on the knowledge gain assessment following the session.
