Come Explore Reflective Supervision with Una and Blair: Centering Relationships in Our Work with Young Children

Please join the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) and the Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) for a Philly SPROUT (Supporting Parenting Relationships through Outreach, Understanding & Training) Learning Collaborative. This interactive Learning Collaborative will feature Blair Lamb, BSN, RN, Nurse Supervisor with the Philadelphia Nurse-Family Partnership at NNCC, and Una Majmudar, MSW, LCSW, IMH-E®, Clinical Director with the Health Federation of Philadelphia, where they will provide an overview of the history of reflective supervision and infant mental health. In addition, attendees will participate in a breakout group discussion based on reflective supervision prompts. The Learning Collaborative will be provided on a Zoom Meeting, so learners can engage with the speakers and colleagues. Supervisors who oversee staff working in early childhood education, early intervention, child welfare, home visiting, and mental/behavioral health are invited to join.

What You'll Learn

During this Learning Collaborative, participants will be able to describe three elements of reflective supervision, understand the concept of parallel process, and learn about reflective approaches to supervision.

Audience

This Learning Collaborative is intended for supervisors in the infant and early childhood mental health field who are currently providing reflective supervision or who are interested in learning more about how to incorporate this practice into their supervision. Space to join the Learning Collaborative is limited.

Nursing Continuing Professional Development

National Nurse-Led Care Consortium is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This meeting session is pending accreditation for 1.0 contact hour of continuing nursing professional development per session. To obtain nursing continuing professional development contact hours, you must participate in the entire activity, participate in audience polling and/or Q&A sessions, and complete the evaluation.
