Learning Collaboratives

The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium hosts intensive, multi-session trainings (learning collaboratives) designed to provide a small group with interactive activities, educational content, and peer-learning opportunities on topics related to healthcare access, equity, and clinical excellence. Learning collaboratives typically span four to six modules (each about an hour in length) that feature content experts and facilitated activities. Participants are encouraged to attend each session and engage in pre- and post-assessments and homework (when applicable). CME/CNE credits are offered for attendance at live sessions.

Learning collaboratives are small groups that allow discussion and peer-to-peer learning. The multiple modules allow our groups to dive deep on topics. Learning collaboratives differ from our selection of webinars, which are lectures and presentations by some of the leading experts in the field of medicine and nursing.

Past Learning Collaboratives

*Denotes involvement with Project ECHO. Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is an innovative telementoring program designed to create virtual communities of learners by bringing together healthcare providers and subject matter experts using videoconference technology, brief lecture presentations, and case-based learning, fostering an “all learn, all teach” approach.  Participants are engaged in the bi-directional virtual knowledge network by sharing clinical challenges and learning from experts and peers.
